When the free spirited Robyn, a young girl from England follows her father (Sean Bean) to Kilkenny she is desperate to break free from her domestic life to assist her father in his task of hunting the dangerous wolves that occupy the surrounding forest. One day when sneaking into the woods against her father’s permission she befriends Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe who legend has it can transform into wolves. An epic ethereal fantasy, Wolfwalkers is characterised by its unbelievably stunning animation, strong female characters, beguiling soundtrack and strong thread of Irish identity.
